This is my translation of the Polish language death record of Franciszek Wojdyła, from the Straszewo Parish.

Czajka, No. 1, 1863

This occurred in the village of Straszewo, on the 21st of January, 1863, at 12 p.m. Appearing are witnesses: Tomasz Zieliński, aged 24, and Tomasz Zaręba, aged 70, both are farmer owners residing in Czajka, and stated that in the village of Czajka, on the 18th of January, 1863, at 5 p.m., Franciszek Wojdyła, Catholic, aged 50, died. He was a farm owner residing in Czajka. His wife, Katarzyna nee Krzyzanowska, is also deceased. He was born in Chrostowo – Kingdom of Prussia and his parents were the deceased couple Andrzej and Apolonia Wojdyła. After eyewitness testimony on the death of Franciszek Wojdyła, this document was read to those present, who were illiterate, and signed by Us.
