Baptism of Tekla Skonieczna (1820)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Tekla Skonieczna, from the Straszewo Parish.

Zakrzewo, No. 37, 1820

On the 17th of September, 1820, before Us, Jozef Wyczechowski, organist and the Administrator and Civil Registrar of Straszewo, performing the duties of the Registrar of Vital Records for the District of Straszewo, Radziejów County, Kujawy Circuit Court, Mazowieckie Province, Franciszek Skonieczny appeared, aged 40, residing in the village of Zakrzewo, house #11, and presented Us a female child, which was born on the 17th of September, 1820, at 4 a.m., to his lawful wife Katarzyna, aged 25. At Holy Baptism, administered on this day, this child was given the name of Tekla. He made the above statement and showed Us the child, in the presence of witnesses: Melchior Kochanowski, aged 41, and Franciszek Ogrodowczyk, aged 27, both residing in Zakrzewo. After which this Birth Record was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by Us alone.
