Death of Mateusz Karpik (1860)

This is my translation of the Polish language death record of Mateusz Karpik, from the Bądkowo Parish.

Żabieniec, No. 19, 1860

This occurred in the village of Bądkowo, on the 4th of July, 1860, at 3 p.m. Appearing are witnesses: Andrzej Kamiński, aged 45, a steward, and Wincenty Sobiech, aged 51, a laborer, both residing in Żabiniec, and stated that on the 2nd of July, 1860, at 9 p.m., Mateusz Karpik, aged 28, a shepherd, died. He leaves behind his wife, whose name is unknown. After eyewitness testimony on the death of Mateusz Karpik, this document was read to those present, who were illiterate, and signed by Us.
