Marriage of Teodor Grzelak and Marianna Wieleńska (1826)

This is my translation of the Polish language marriage record of Teodor Grzelak and Marianna Wieleńska, from the Radziejów parish. Any errors are completely my own.

Radziejów, No. 15, 1826,

This happened in the town of Radziejów, on the 26th of November, 1826, at 12 p.m. We declare in the presence of: Wojciech Brozdziński, aged 46, a farm owner residing in Probostwo Radziejów, and Mikołaj Nagorniewski, aged 50, a farm owner residing in Radziejów, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:

Teodor Grzelak, aged 25, single, Catholic, a farmhand residing in the village of Opatowice, the son of Andrzej and Marianna Grzelak – farm owners residing in Opatowice, born in the village Opatowice,

and Marianna Wieleńska, aged 19, single, Catholic, an menial laborer in Probostwo Radziejów, the daughter of Józef and the deceased Helena Wieleński – a shepherd residing in Stary Radziejów, born in the village of Stary Radziejów.

Three announcements preceded this marriage. The banns were read, at the Radziejów parish church, on the 5th, 12th, and 19th of November, 1826. No impediment occurred and no prenuptial agreement was made between the newlyweds. This document, after being read aloud to the witnesses and the newlyweds, was signed by the presiding pastor.
