Marriage of Paweł Żywica and Tekla Kozińska (1858)
Hello,
This is my translation of the Polish language marriage record of Paweł Żywiczka and Tekla Kozińska, from the Bronisław parish. Any errors are completely my own.
Bronisław, No 5, 1858
This happened in the village of Bronisław on the 11th of February, 1858, at 10 a.m. We declare, that in the presence of: Jakub Niespodziański, aged 38, a farm owner, and Walenty Mętlewicz, aged 50, a farm hand, both reside in Bronisław, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:
Paweł Żywiczka, aged 30, a widower, a farm owner residing in Bieganowo, the son of the deceased couple Tomasz and Katarzyna Żywiczka, born in the village of Papros,
and Tekla Kozińska, aged 19, single, residing with her parents in Bronisław, the daughter of Walenty and Katarzyna Koziński – farm owners in Bronisław, born in the village of Bronisław.
The wedding was preceded by one reading of the banns, at the Broniewo and Byczyna Parish churches, on the 7th of February, 1858. Oral consent was given by the families who were present for the wedding and no impediments arose. No prenuptial agreement was made by the newlyweds. This document was read aloud to the declarants and witnesses and signed by Us, because those appearing and the witnesses mentioned in this document cannot write, unless indicated below.
Rev. Wojciech Kochowicz, Pastor of the Bronisław Parish and Civil Registrar
