This is my translation of the Polish language marriage record of Paweł Żywiczka and Marianna Nowak, from the Byczyna parish. Any errors are completely my own.
Płowki, No 2, 1855
This happened in the village of Broniewo on the 3rd of February, 1855, at 10 a.m. We declare, that in the presence of: Rafał Mielcarek, aged 50, and Michał Dębowy, aged 40, both are farm owners residing in Płowki, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:
Paweł Żywiczka, aged 27, a widower, a farm owner residing in Bieganowo, the son of the deceased couple Tomasz and Katarzyna Żywiczka, born in the village of Papros,
and Marianna Nowak, aged 16, single, residing with her parents in Płowki, the daughter of Kazimierz and Julianna Nowak – farm owners in Płowki, born in the village of Płowki.
The wedding was preceded by three readings of the banns, at the Broniewo and Byczyna Parish churches, on the 21st and 28th of January, and the 2nd of February, 1855. Oral consent was given by the families who were present for the wedding and no impediments arose. No prenuptial agreement was made by the newlyweds. This document was read aloud to the declarants and witnesses and signed by Us, because those appearing and the witnesses mentioned in this document cannot write, unless indicated below.
