This is my translation of the Polish language death record of Katarzyna Lewandowska nee Żywiczka, from the Brześć Parish. Any errors are completely my own.
Kuczyna, No. 32, 1842
This occurred in the village of Breść, on the 19th of May, 1842, at 9 a.m. Appearing are witnesses: Jan Wysocki, aged 57, and Błażej Miżewski, aged 55, both are farm owners residing in Kuczyna, and stated that on the 17th of May, 1842, at 7 a.m., Katarzyna Lewandowska, aged 24, died. She resided in the village of Kuczyna. She leaves behind her husband Jakub and her children Józefa and Wojciech. She was the daughter of Tomasz and Katarzyna Żywiczka and born in Papros – Grand Duchy of Poznań. After eyewitness testimony on the death of Katarzyna Lewandowska, this document was read to those present, who were illiterate, and signed by Us.
