This is my translation of the Latin language Marriage record of Piotr Żywiczka and Marianna Szulczewska, from the Gniewkowo Parish. Any errors are completely my own.

Gniewkowo, 1857, No. 1

On January 25, 1857, I, Rev. Ignacy Knast, after the banns have been read on three separate Sundays, and no canonical impediment having arisen, with blessing, officiated at the wedding of Piotr Żywiczka, aged 40, Catholic, a widower, from Suchatówka, both of his parents are deceased, and Marianna Szulczewska, aged 21, Catholic, single, from Lipie, her father is deceased and her mother’s name is Marianna. The witnesses were: Tomasz Lewandowski, a blacksmith from Gniewkowo, and Walenty Polak, a farmer from Perkowo.
