Hello,
This is my translation of the Polish language marriage record of Mateusz Wiśniewski and Aniela Ćwiklińska, from the Broniewo parish. Any errors are completely my own.
Szóstka No 6, 1829
This happened in the village of Broniewo on the 1st of October 1829, at 10 a.m. We declare, that in the presence of: Szymon Wośk, aged 36, a laborer residing in Szóstka, and Walenty Mieszak, aged 29, an innkeeper residing in Szóstka, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:
Mateusz Wiśniewski, aged 28, a widower, a farm owner residing in Szóstka, the son of the deceased Michał and his widow Agnieszka Wiśniewski, born in the village of Szóstka,
and Aniela Ćwiklińska, aged 18, the daughter of Łukasz and Barbara Ćwikliński – who are blacksmiths residing in Szóstka, born in Skalmierowice.
The wedding was preceded by three readings of the banns, at the Broniewo Parish church, on the 13th, 20th, and 27th of September, 1829. Oral consent was given by the families who were present for the wedding and no impediments arose. No prenuptial agreement was made by the newlyweds. This document was read aloud to the declarants and witnesses and signed by Us, because those appearing and the witnesses mentioned in this document cannot write.
