Baptism of Jakob Wawrzyniak (1865)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Jakób Wawrzyniak, from the Straszewo parish. Any errors are completely my own.

Zakrzewo, No. 39, 1865

This occurred in the village of Straszewo, on the 6th of July, 1865, at 3 p.m. Jan Wawrzyniak appeared, aged 40, Catholic, a laborer residing in Zakrzewo, in the presence of Wojciech Michalski, aged 40, and Jan Wesołowski, aged 35, both are laborers residing in Zakrzewo, and presented us a male child, stating that the child was born in the village of Zakrzewo, on the 6th of July, 1865, at 3 a.m., to his lawful wife Łucja Kochanowska, aged 48. At Holy Baptism this child was given the name of Jakób. The Godparents were: Andrzej Sobieraj, from Ostrowąs, and Elżbieta Cieślakiewicz, from Zakrzewo. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by Us alone.
