Baptism of Ignacy Wawrzyniak (1861)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Ignacy Wawrzyniak, from the Straszewo parish. Any errors are completely my own.

Zakrzewo, No. 5, 1861

This occurred in the village of Straszewo, on the 20th of January, 1861, at 5 p.m. Jan Wawrzyniak appeared, aged 37, Catholic, a farmhand residing in Zakrzewo, in the presence of Wojciech Michalski, aged 30, and Józef Krzyżaniak, aged 34, both are farm owners residing in Zakrzewo, and presented us a male child, stating that the child was born in the village of Zakrzewo, on the 19th of January, 1861, at 4 p.m., to his lawful wife Łucja Kochanowska, aged 45. At Holy Baptism this child was given the name of Ignacy. The Godparents were: Wojciech Kochanowski and Franciszka Sobieraj. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by Us alone.
