Baptism of Wojciech Wawrzyniak (1855)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Wojciech Wawrzyniak, from the Straszewo parish. Any errors are completely my own.

Zakrzewo, No. 3, 1855

This occurred in the village of Straszewo, on the 12th of April, 1855, at 2 p.m. Jan Wawrzyniak appeared, aged 29, Catholic, an estate farmhand residing in Zakrzewo, in the presence of Jan Wesołowski, aged 30, a farm owner residing in Zakrzewo, and presented us a male child, stating that the child was born in the village of Zakrzewo, on the 11th of April, 1855, at 5 p.m., to his lawful wife Łucja Kochanowska, aged 40. At Holy Baptism this child was given the name of Wojciech. The Godparents were: Jan Wesołowski and Antonina Cieślakiewicz, both from Zakrzewo. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by Us alone.
