I would like to share the marriage record of my great-grandparents and my attempt at transliterating the Russian text. First, I will share the whole document. Then I will break it down into sentences, along with my transliteration attempt.

Now, I would like to present the first sentence or section of the marriage record. I will be using Jonathan D. Shea and William F. Hoffman’s guide, In Their Words Volume II: Russian, as my reference source for transliterating the Russian marriage document. The first section below lists the place and date of the marriage.

This happened in Siniarzewo on September 4, 1905 at 2 o’clock p.m.
