Baptism of Andrzej Matusiak (1852)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Andrzej Matusiak, from the Straszewo parish.

Zakrzewo, No. 12, 1852

This occurred in the village of Straszewo, on the 15th of February, 1852, at 2 p.m. Szymon Matuszak, aged 26, Catholic, a laborer residing in the village of Zakrzewo, appeared in the presence of: Jan Danielewski, aged 34, a blacksmith, and Jakób Gajda, aged 50, a farm owner, both are residing in the village of Zakrzewo, and showed Us a male child born in the village of Zakrzewo, on the 29th of January, 1852, at 2 p.m., to his lawful wife, Józefa nee Wiśniewska, aged 30. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Andrzej. The Godparents were: Jan Danielewski and Marianna Matuszak. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by Us alone.
