Baptism of Anna Kowalczyk (1843)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Anna Kowalczyk, from the Straszewo parish.

Zakrzewo, No. 45, 1843

This occurred in the village of Straszewo, on the 9th of July, 1843, at 10 a.m. Roch Kowalczyk, aged 33, Catholic, a farm owner residing in the village of Zakrzewo, appeared in the presence of: Wojciech Kulpiński, aged 38, a farm owner, and Walenty Bąk, aged 33, a wheelwright, both are residing in the village of Zakrzewo, and showed Us a female child born in the village of Zakrzewo, house #12, on the 3rd of July, 1843, at 9 p.m., to his lawful wife, Łucja, aged 30. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Anna. The Godparents were: Wojciech Kulpiński and Agnieszka Urbańska. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by Us alone.
