Baptism of Joanna Kicinska (1858)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Joanna Kicińska, from the Kościelna Wieś parish.

Kluki, No. 33, 1858

This occurred in the village of Kościelna Wieś, on the 23rd of May, 1858, at 1 p.m. Jan Kiciński appeared, aged 50, a cooper residing in Kluki, in the presence of: Józef Gradyszewski, aged 43, a laborer, and Józef Gurecki, aged 26, a forester, both residing in Kluki, and showed Us a female child born in Kluki, on the 12th of May, 1858, at 8 a.m., to his lawful wife Wiktoria nee Muszyńska, aged 43. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Joanna. The godparents were: Wawrzyniec Lipski and Joanna Smolińska. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by Us alone.
