Baptism of Michal Kicinski (1845)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Michał Kiciński, from the Sompolno parish.

Sompolno, No. 37, 1845

This occurred in the city of Sompolno, on the 22nd of September, 1845, at 2 p.m. Jan Kiciński appeared, aged 40, a cooper residing in Sompolno, in the presence of: Mateusz Jabłoński, aged 30, and Andrzej Michalski, aged 32, both residing in Sompolno, and showed Us a male child born in Sompolno, on the 15th of September, 1845, to his lawful wife Wiktoria nee Muszyńska, aged 24. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Michał. The godparents were: Mateusz Jabłoński and Zofia Michalska, both are Catholic. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by Us alone.
