Baptism of Julianna Kicinska (1838)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Julianna Kicińska, from the Sompolno parish.

Sompolno, No. 18, 1838

This occurred in the city of Sompolno, on the 11th of February, 1838, at 3 p.m. Jan Kiciński appeared, aged 36, a cooper residing in Sompolno, in the presence of: Franciszek Świderski, aged 35, a cooper, and Błażej Michalski, aged 45, a laborer, both residing in Sompolno, and showed Us a female child born in Sompolno, on the 4th of February, 1838, at 6 p.m., to his lawful wife Wiktoria nee Muszyńska, aged 29. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Julianna Skolastyka. The godparents were: Franciszek Świderski and Ełżbieta Michalska, both are Catholic. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by Us alone.
