Baptism of Jozef Kicinski (1833)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Józef Kiciński, from the Sompolno parish.

Sompolno, No. 24, 1833

This occurred in the city of Sompolno, on the 17th of January, 1833, at 8 a.m. Jan Kiciński appeared, aged 22, a resident of Sompolno, in the presence of: Marcin Granicki, aged 28, and Tomasz Wiśniewski, aged 33, both are coopers residing in Sompolno, and showed Us a male child born in Sompolno, on the 8th of January, 1833, at 6 p.m., to his lawful wife Wiktoria nee Muszyńska, aged 19. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Józef. The godparents were: Marcin Granicki and Agnieszka Świderska, both are Catholic. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by Us alone.
