Baptism of Genowefa Andrzejczak (1904)

This is my translation of the Russian language baptismal record of Genowefa Andrzejczak, from the Siniarzewo parish.

Gosławice No. 6 1904

This occurred in the village of Siniarzewo on the 17th of September, 1904 at 4 a.m. Jan Andrzejczak appeared, age 24, laborer and resident of the settlement of Gosławice, district of Sędzin, in the presence of Marian Blochowicz, age 45, and Ignacy Mendel, age 32, both peasants who reside in the colony of Gosławice, and presented to us a female child, stating that the child was born in the colony of Gosławice on the 15th of the current month and year at 5 p.m. of his lawful wife Lucia nee Grisanka, age 22.

At Holy Baptism, administered on this day by Reverend Aleksy Hoffman, this child was given the name of Genowefa. The Godparents were Władysław Sikorski and Agnieszka Grisanka. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
