Marriage of Kacper Michalak and Antonina Grzelak (1847)

This is my translation of the Polish language marriage record of Kacper Michalak and Antonina Grzelak, from the Radziejów parish. Any errors are completely my own.

Opatowice No. 7, 1847,

This happened in the town of Radziejów, on the 16th of May, 1847, at 11 a.m. We declare in the presence of Paweł Grzelak, aged 24, a farm owner, and Kacper Gralik, aged 40, a farm owner, both residing in Opatowice, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:

Kacper Michalak, aged 24, single, an attendant residing in the village of Opatowice, the son of Małgorzata Michalak – father is unknown, born in Rzepinska?

and Antonina Grzelak, aged 19, single, an attendant residing in the village of Opatowice, the daughter of the deceased couple Jakób and Marianna Grzelak nee Maciejak, born in the village of Opatowice.

Three announcements preceded this marriage. The banns were read, at the Radziejów parish church, on the 2nd, 9th, and 16th of May, 1847. No impediment occurred and no prenuptial agreement was made between the newlyweds. This document, after being read aloud to the witnesses and the newlyweds, was signed by the presiding pastor.
