Andrzejczak Records Summary – Wloclawek Archives
Hello,
I have finally finished translating the Siniarzewo Parish records that I had received from the Włocławek Archives in early November. There were 13 records in all, but only 12 seem to be directly related to my great-great grandparents. With the help of Jonathan D. Shea and William F. Hoffman’s guide, In Their Words Volume II: Russian, I was able to piece together a portion of my Jędrzejczak/Andrzejczak ancestry. Below are my initial findings and summaries from the Włocławek Archives records.
My great-great grandparents were Walenty Jędrzejczak (born abt 1858) and Zofia Kacprzak (born abt 1860). They had the following children (they may have more that I have yet to find):
Paweł – abt 1882 to April 14, 1906 (I still need more proof to verify that he was one of their children)
Stanisław – May 3, 1883
Marcin – November 2, 1884 to November 23, 1885
Michalina – September 7, 1886
Jan – abt 1889 to February 16, 1892
Lucya – abt 1891 to February 23, 1892
The Siniarzewo Parish records for each of the children listed above can be found by selecting the blog labels called Andrzejczak or Siniarzewo Parish. Overall, these records were extremely helpful and useful. By utilizing the Włocławek Archives records, I was able to bridge the gap between the available American records and the Siniarzewo Parish films that are available from the LDS library. Now, I should be able to track my Andzrejczak and Kacprzak ancestry back as far as the Siniarzewo Parish records will allow, which is 1759.
Best Regards,
Al
