Marriage of Marcin Krzyzanowski and Helena Deregowska (1848)
Hello,
This is my translation of the Polish language marriage record of Marcin Krzyżanowski and Helena Deręgowska, from the Piotrków parish. Any errors are completely my own.
Palczewo, No. 5, 1848
This happened in Piotrków, on the 6th of March, 1848, at 10 a.m. We declare in the presence of: Szymon Stramowski, aged 40, and Jakób Sobucki, aged 50, both are Catholic laborers residing in the village of Świesz, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:
Marcin Krzyżanowski, aged 30, single, Catholic, residing in the village of Świesz, the son of Michał and Ewa Krzyżanowski, born in the village of Brzezie,
and Helena Deręgowska, aged 22, single, Catholic, residing in the village of Palczewo, the daughter of Szymon and Helena Deręgowski, born in the village of Palczewo.
Three announcements preceded this marriage. The banns were read, at the Piotrków Parish church, on the 20th and 27th of February, and the 5th of March, 1848. No impediments arose and no prenuptial agreement was made between the newlyweds. This document, after being read aloud to the witnesses and the newlyweds, was signed by the presiding pastor.
Rev. Wojciech Szczepański, Vicar of the Piotrków Parish and Civil Registrar.
