Baptism of Karolina Deregowska (1828)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Karolina Deręgowska, from the Piotrków Kujawski parish.

Świesz, No. 22, 1828

This occurred in the village of Piotrków, on the 29th of March, 1828, at 10 a.m. Szymon Deręgowski, aged 30, a laborer residing in the village of Świesz, in the presence of: Andrzej Kapelak, aged 31, a steward residing in Świesz; and Jakób Zbieg, aged 30, a laborer residing in Świesz, and showed us a female child born in Świesz, on the 28th of March, 1828, at 9 p.m., to his lawful wife Helena Kolenda, aged 24. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Karolina. The godparents were: Andrzej Kapelak and Marianna Kłosińska. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
