Marriage of Pawel Kochanowski and Franciszka Krzyzaniak (1846)

This is my translation of the Polish language marriage record of Paweł Kochanowski and Franciszka Krzyżaniak, from the Straszewo parish.

Zakrzewo, No. 14, 1846

This happened in the village of Straszewo on the 22nd of November, 1846, at 1 p.m. We declare in the presence of: Wojciech ?ozmiński and Józef Matuszak, both aged over 40 and farm owners residing in the village of Zakrzewo, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:

Paweł Kochanowski, aged 24, Catholic, single, a laborer residing in the village of Zakrzewo, the son of Stanisław and Marcianna Kochanowski – laborers residing in Zakrzewo, born in the village of Zakrzewo,

and Franciszka Krzyżaniak, aged 18, Catholic, single, residing with her family in the village of Zakrzewo, the daughter of Jakób and Józefa Krzyżaniak nee Ciemniak – farm owners residing in Zakrzewo, born in the village of Broniewo.

Three announcements preceded this marriage. The banns were read, at the Straszewo Parish church on the 8th, 15th, and 22nd of November, 1846. No impediments arose and the families gave their approvals. The newlyweds stated that they had made no prenuptial agreement between them. This document, after being read aloud to the witnesses and the newlyweds, was signed by the presiding pastor.
