This is my translation of the Russian language death record of Tomasz Swiercz, from the Straszewo parish.
Zakrzewo No. 18 1883
This occurred in the village of Straszewo on the 15th of May, 1883, at 10 a.m. Jan Wiejólowski?, age 53, and Antoni Soliński, age 48, both residents of Zakrzewo, appeared and stated that on the 13th of May, 1883, at 8 a.m., in Zakrzewo, Tomasz Swiercz, died, age 23. He leaves behind his widow Rozalia Nowak. He was in the service in Zakrzewo. He was born in Wola, district of Sędzin, and resident of Zakrzewo. He was the son of the deceased Antoni, who was a resident and farmer in Wola, and Agnieszka Swiercz nee Lewandowska. After eyewitness testimony on the death of Tomasz Swiercz, this document was read to those present, who were illiterate, and signed by us.
