Baptism of Jozefa Pankowska (1848)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Józefa Pankowska, from the Straszewo parish.

Zakrzewo, No. 26, 1848

This occurred in the village of Straszewo, on the 7th of July, 1848, at 12 p.m. Wojciech Pankowski, aged 36, Catholic, a farm owner residing in the village of Zakrzewo, appeared in the presence of: Jakób Pankowski, aged 24, and Jakób Krzyżaniak, aged 50, both are laborers residing in the village of Zakrzewo, and showed Us a female child born in the village of Zakrzewo, on the 2nd of July, 1848, at 6 p.m., to his lawful wife, Łucja Kochanowska, aged 28. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Józefa. The Godparents were: Jakób Kochanowski and Franciszka Kochanowska. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by Us alone.
