Straszewo Parish Films – Nowak/Pankowska Research

I’d like to summarize the information that I have compiled thus far, regarding the family of Mateusz Nowak and Maryanna Pankowska. The information is taken from the records of the Straszewo Parish.

The Marriage of Mateusz Nowak and Maryanna Pankowska happened on September 21, 1862 and they had the following children:

1) Rozalia Nowak – born August 8, 1863 – death unknown
2) Jan Nowak – born October 13, 1865 – death unknown
3) Walenty Nowak – born January 28, 1868 – death unknown
4) Jakób Nowak – born June 29, 1870 – death unknown
5) Adam Nowak – born December 22, 1876 – died in December 20, 1877
6) Józef Nowak – born February 14, 1879 – death unknown

Mateusz Nowak died the following year after the birth of his son Józef. Mateusz Nowak died on May 9, 1880.

I will continue to search through the Straszewo Parish films. There is a five-six year gap between child four and five, which seems odd. Mateusz and Maryanna were averaging a child every 2 1/2 years. I will search all the marriage and death records to find more details on the family of my great-great-great grandparents.
