Hello,
This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Józef Pluskota, from the Broniewo Parish. Any errors are completely my own.
Szóstka, 1812
On the 7th of March, 1812, at 4 p.m., before Us, the Administrator and Civil Registrar of Broniewo, performing the duties of the Registrar of Vital Records for the District of Broniewo, Radziejów County, Bydgoszcz Department, Paweł Pluskota appeared, aged 46, the village Mayor, and presented Us a male child, which was born in his home, on the 6th of March, 1812, at 10 a.m., to his lawful wife Rozalia nee Sobieraj, aged 30. At Holy Baptism, administered on this day, this child was given the name of Józef Benedykt. He made the above statement and showed Us the child, in the presence of witnesses: Wawrzyniec Pluskota, aged 50, residing in the village of Broniewo, a contractor; and Franciszek Kośmider, aged 34, residing in the village of Szóstka. After which this Birth Record was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by Us alone.
