Baptism of Katarzyna Wojciechowska (1842)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Katarzyna Wojciechowska, from the Byczyna parish.

Szalonki, No. 74, 1842

This occurred in the village of Byczyna, on the 24th of November, 1842, at 12 p.m. Stanisław Wojciechowski appeared, aged 40, a tenant farmer residing in Szalonki, in the presence of Balcer Gutkowski, aged 45, a tenant farmer, and Izydor Szajewski, aged 50, a shepherd, both residing in the village of Szalonki, and showed us a female child born in the village of Szalonki, on the 21st of November, 1842, at 12 a.m., to his lawful wife Jadwiga nee Wolęcka, aged 30. At Holy Baptism performed this day, this child was given the name Katarzyna. The Godparents were: Maciej Lewandowski and Józefa Zielińska. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
