Upcoming Series of Posts: The Partitions of Poland

Hello,

I would like to share a paper that I had written for a Western Civilization class that I had taken earlier this year. The paper is titled The Partitions of Poland. I have made some minimal alterations to the paper, but overall the core of the paper remains the same. I will post the paper in sections and provide a PDF version after the series’ final post. Please note that the final PDF version will contain all source information for all citations within the paper.

This series of posts should help provide background information about the situations leading to partitions of Poland and the new territories gained by the Austrian, Russian, and Prussian Empires. This series of posts will provide a lead-in to my personal project that deals with the naming conventions for places within the eastern portion of the Prussian Kingdom/German Empire.
