Baptism of Elzbieta Nowak (1837)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Ełżbieta Nowak, from the Byczyna parish.

Bodzanowo, No. 33, 1837

This occurred in the village of Byczyna, on the 25th of June, 1837, at 11 a.m. Jan Nowak appeared, aged 37, a farmhand residing in the village of Bodzanowo, in the presence of Stanisław Wrzesiński, aged 32, a chef residing in the village of Bodzanowo, and Jan Sporek, aged 62, a farmer residing in the village of Bodzanowo, and showed us a female child born in the village of Bodzanowo, on the 20th of June, 1837, at 11 a.m., to his lawful wife Justyna nee Robaszek, aged 33. At Holy Baptism performed this day, this child was given the name Ełżbieta. The Godparents were: Jan Małkowski and Jadwiga Wrzesińśka. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
