This is my translation of the Latin language extract of the baptismal record of Walenty Gorzycki, from the Radziejów parish.

Kolonia Opatowice No. 7, 1872

This occurred in the town of Radziejów, on the 9th/21st of January, 1872, at 5 p.m. Filip Gorzycki appeared, aged 47, in the presence of Andrzej Gardyza, aged 50, and Antoni Banaszkiewicz, aged 54, and showed us a male child born on the 9th/21st of January, 1872, at 9 a.m., to his lawful wife Marianna nee Kocińska, aged 29. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Walenty. The godparents were: Andrzej Kociński and Katarzyna Nowakowska.
