Baptism of Józefa Deręgowska (1859)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Józefa Deręgowska, from the Piotrków Kujawski parish.

Palczewo, No. 32, 1859

This occurred in the village of Piotrków, on the 16th of April, 1859, at 12 p.m. Maciej Deręgowski appeared, aged 40, a farm owner residing in Palczewo, in the presence of Wojciech Pluskota, aged 60, and Michał Racinowski, aged 60, both are farm owners residing in Palczewo, and showed us a female child born in Palczewo, on the 15th of April, 1859, at 12 p.m., to his lawful wife Wiktoria nee Pietrasiak, aged 40. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Józefa. The godparents were: Wawrzyniec Piasecki and Józefa Zielińska. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
