Baptism of Józefa Deręgowska (1847)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Józefa Deręgowska, from the Piotrków Kujawski parish.

Palczewo, No. 14, 1847

This occurred in the village of Piotrków, on the 4th of March, 1847, at 2 p.m. Maciej Deręgowski appeared, aged 35, Catholic, a farm owner residing in Palczewo, in the presence of Szymon Stramiński, aged 38, an innkeeper residing in Świesz, and Andrzej Pacholski, aged 76, the Grandfather??, residing in Piotrków, both are Catholic, and showed us a female child born in Palczewo, on the 26th of February, 1847, at 10 p.m., to his lawful wife Wiktoria nee Pietrasiak, aged 27. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Józefa. The godparents were: Szymon Stramiński and Marianna Gruberska, also in attendance were Antoni Gruberski and Wilhelmina Stramińska. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
