Baptism of Jan Jedrzejczak (1888)

This is my translation of the Russian language baptismal record of Jan Jędrzejczak, from the Koneck parish.

Biesiekierz, No. 84, 1888

This occurred in the village of Koneck on the 19th of November/1st of December, 1888, at 10 a.m. Walenty Jędrzejewski*, aged 30, a domestic worker in the village of Biesiekierz, in the presence of Walenty Jadczak, aged 60, and Wojciech Sierpiński, aged 60, both are gardeners residing in Biesiekierz, and presented us a male child, stating that the child was born in the village of Biesiekierz, on the 19th of November/1st of December, 1888, at 6 a.m., to his lawful wife Zofia nee Kacprzak, aged 25. At Holy Baptism, administered on this day, this child was given the name of Jan. The Godparents were: Wawrzyniec Tomaszewski and Apolonia Polatowska. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
