Marriage of Wojciech Bielawski and Jozefa Rosowska (1878)

This is my translation of the Russian language marriage record of Wojciech Bielawski and Józefa Rosowska, from the Piotrków parish. Any errors are completely my own.

Dębołęka, No. 12, 1878

This happened in Piotrków, on the 20th of August/1st of September, 1878, at 4 p.m. We declare in the presence of Edward Mitwicki, aged 25, a resident of Szewce, and Kacper Królikowski, aged 50, an organist residing in Piotrków, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:

Wojciech Bielawski, aged 24, single, a blacksmith? residing in Dębołęka – Piotrków parish, born in the village and parish of Orchowo – Grand Duchy of Poznań, the son of Józef and Marianna Bielawski nee Grzybowska,

and Józefa Rosowska, aged 18, single, a resident of Dębołęka – Piotrków parish, born in the village of Kozjaty – Mąkoszyn parish, the daughter of Stanisław and Ełżbieta Rosowski nee Chielińska.

Three announcements preceded this marriage. The banns were read, at the Piotrków parish church, on the 6th/18th, 13th/25th of August, and the 20th of August/1st of September, 1878. No prenuptial agreement was made between the newlyweds. This document, after being read aloud to the witnesses and the newlyweds, was signed by the presiding pastor.
