Baptism of Stanislaw Deregowski (1888)

This is my translation of the Russian language baptismal record of Stanisław Deręgowski, from the Piotrków Kujawski parish.

Piotrków, No. 140, 1888

This occurred in the village of Piotrków, on the 10th/22nd of October, 1888, at 9 a.m. Wincenty Deręgowski appeared, aged 53, a laborer residing in the village of Piotrków, in the presence of Jakób Janczmiński, aged 69, a stone mason, and Franciszek Ziemecki, aged 58, a miller, both residents of the village of Piotrków, and showed us a male child born in the village of Piotrków, on the 7th/19th of October, 1888, at 12 a.m., to his lawful wife Zuzanna nee Gorzycka, aged 35. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Stanisław. The godparents were: Józef Tanalski and Franciszka Lukaszczewska. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
