Baptism of Maciej Deregowski (1881)

This is my translation of the Russian language baptismal record of Maciej Deręgowski, from the Piotrków Kujawski parish.

Kaczewo, No. 26, 1881

This occurred in the village of Piotrków, on the 3rd/15th of February, 1881, at 6 p.m. Wincenty Deręgowski appeared, aged 48, an innkeeper? residing in the village of Kaczewo, in the presence of Jan Sikorski, aged 29, and Konstanty Zachwieja, aged 30, both are farmers residing in the village of Kaczewo, and showed us a male child born in the village of Kaczewo, on the 2nd/14th of February, 1881, at 9 p.m., to his lawful wife Zuzanna nee Gorzycka, aged 28. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Maciej. The godparents were: Jan Sikorski and Marianna Zachwieja. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
