Baptism of Jadwiga Deregowska (1865)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Jadwiga Deręgowska, from the Piotrków Kujawski parish.

Palczewo, No. 104, 1865

This occurred in the village of Piotrków, on the 8th of October, 1865, at 12 p.m. Wincenty Deręgowski appeared, aged 27, a farm owner residing in Palczewo, in the presence of Michał Racinowski, aged 59, and Marcin Głowacki, aged 53, both are farm owners residing in Palczewo, and showed us a female child born in Palczewo, on the 7th of October, 1865, at 8 p.m., to his lawful wife Antonina nee Mazurkiewicz, aged 19. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Jadwiga. The godparents were: Michał Hossa and Katarzyna Kocent. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
