Military Monday – Paul P. Kobs WWI Draft Registration
Hello,
I’d like to continue my participation in the Geneabloggers daily prompt for Monday, called “Military Monday“. I am posting the WWI Draft Registration card of my great-great grandfather Frank F. Kobs’ brother Paul (my 2nd great grand uncle).
He registered on September 12th, 1918 at the Milwaukee County Registration Office #8, which was located on 10th & Forest Home Avenue. Paul lived with his mother and siblings at 802 Third Avenue on Milwaukee’s south side. He listed his cousin Frank Bonk (Polish spelling was Bąk) as his nearest relative and whom lived at 452 Rogers Street, which was also on Milwaukee’s south side. Paul was single and listed his occupation as a “Heater”, working at Ladish, in St. Francis, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin.
Best Regards,
Al
