Military Monday – August Kobs WWI Draft Registration
Hello,
I’d like to continue my participation in the Geneabloggers daily prompt for Monday, called “Military Monday“. I am posting the WWI Draft Registration card of my great-great grandfather Frank F. Kobs’ brother August (my 2nd great grand uncle).
He registered on June 5th, 1917 at the Milwaukee County Registration Office #14, which was located in Milwaukee’s Ward 14. He was age 30 years old, during his registration. August listed his birth date as November 11, 1886. August lived with his wife and 2 children, at 1346 Midland Ave., on Milwaukee’s south side. August listed his occupation as “Delivery Clerk”, working at the Herman Toser Company, in Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin.
