Cleaning out my Google Reader’s Starred Items – Part I
Hello,
Today, I’ve started the task of cleaning out my “starred items” in my Google Reader. Over the past two plus years, I have accumulated over 280 starred posts from many of the blogs that I’ve subscribed to. I would like to post links to the articles that I’ve found interesting and/or useful. Some of these posts are old, but the content is still valuable. Here are some of these links:
1) Steamship Historical Society of America Launches Interactive Project to Identify 40,000+ Ship Images, from DearMyrtle’s Genealogy Blog
2) Octoberfest – A Good Time to Begin Your German Research, from GenealogyandFamilyHistory.com
3) It is All About Location, by Michael John Neill, from 24-7 Family History Circle
4) Online Genealogy Dictionaries and Lists, from Eastman’s Online Genealogy Newsletter
5) Newspapers: Important Resources for Your Research, from GenealogyandFamilyHistory.com
6) 25,000 Historical Book Titles Now Free Online, from Eastman’s Online Genealogy Newsletter
7) Webmaster’s Guide to TNG, from Geneabloggers
8) Genealogy Source Citation Quick Reference Card, from Geneabloggers
9) Immigration Explorer – an Interactive Map, from Olive Tree Genealogy Blog
10) Finding NARA Genealogy Records Online, from Genealogy Simple & Fun
I hope people find these links as useful as I do. There’s more to come…
Best Regards,
Al
