Death of Mateusz Tobiasz (1924)

This is my translation of the Polish language death record of Mateusz Tobiasz, from the Straszewo parish.

Zakrzewo No. 3 1924

This occurred in the village of Straszewo on the 8th of January, 1924, at 10 a.m. Appearing are Józef Danielewski and Józef Kujawa, both peasants residing in Zakrzewo, and stated that on the 7th of January, 1924, at 7 p.m., in Zakrzewo, Mateusz Tobiasz, a laborer, age 87, died. He was born in Adolfin, Byczyna Parish, son of the late Ignacy and Zofia Tobiasz. He leaves behind his widow Anna Tobiasz. After eyewitness testimony on the death of Mateusz Tobiasz, this document was read to those present, who were illiterate, and signed by us.
