Marriage of Jakub Mrozowski and Jadwiga Tobiasz nee Golebieska (1878)

This is my translation of the Polish language marriage record of Jakub Mrozowski and Jadwiga Tobiasz nee Gołębieska, from the Łowiczek parish. Any errors are completely my own.

Kolonia Józfowo No 3 1878

This happened in the village of Łowiczek on the 26th of June/8th of July, 1878, at 3 p.m. We declare in the presence of: Marcin Zwierzchowski, elementary school teacher, presently in the village of Łowiczek, aged 75, and Franciszek Dombrzalski, farm owner, residing in the village of Wituldowo, parish of Wieniec, aged 42, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:

Jakub Mrozowski, widower (his wife Ewa nee Ambrożewicz died in the Dubielewo Folwark, parish of Wieniec, on 30th of November/12th of December, 1877), was born in the village of Janowice, parish of Lubanie, the son of Stanisław and Katarzyna Mrozowski, aged 55,

and Jadwiga Tobiasz nee Gołębieska, a resident from Kolonia Józefowo, widow (after her husband Andrzej Tobiasz died in Kolonia Józefowo, parish of Łowiczek, on the 14th/28th of May, 1874), was born in Kolonia Wola Skarbkowa, parish of Osięciny, daughter of Michał and Józefa Gołębieski, endowment in Kolonia Józefowo where she resides, aged 42.

The wedding was preceded by three readings of the banns at the parish churches of Wieniec and Łowiczek during announcements, on the 11th/23rd, 18th/30th of June, and the 25th of June/6th of July, 1878. No impediments arose and the newlyweds stated that they had made no prenuptial agreement between them. The presiding pastor was Rev. Michał Zwierzchowski, pastor of the Łowiczek Parish.

This document was read aloud to the declarants and witnesses and signed by us who can write, because those appearing and the witnesses mentioned in this document cannot write.
