In about 1780, Florjan Pajerski, a Kruszwica scholastic and also a local rector, erected a new church that is still standing. Presently a new brick church is being built. There was also a hospital funded, but without a fixed salary. The Byczyna Parish belongs to the Nieszawa Deanery, previously the Radziejów Deanery. Listed are 1884 souls.
