Marriage of Stanislaw Tobiasz and Petronella Trząsalska nee Lewandowska (1845)

This is my translation of the Polish language marriage record of my 4x great-grandfather Stanisław Tobiasz and his second wife Petronella Trząsalska nee Lewandowska, from the Kościelna Wieś parish. Any errors are completely my own.

Krotoszyn No 11 1845

This happened in Kościelna Wieś on the 16th of September, 1845, at 10 a.m. We declare in the presence of Maciej Marcinkowski, laborer, aged 40, and Julian Zdziechowski, a forester, aged 27, both residents of Krotoszyn, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:

Stanisław Tobiasz, widower (his wife Agnieszka died in Krotoszyn), son of Jan and Jadwiga Tobiasz, born in Mąkocin (note: this could be Łakocin, which is a village where his siblings were born), in the Duchy of Posen, aged 45, a resident of Krotoszyn,

and Petronella Trząsalska, widow (her husband Tomasz Trząsalski died in Idzikowice, on 12th of February, 1837), daughter of Jan and Franciszka Lewandowski, aged 37, born in Piotrkowice, a resident of Krotoszyn.

The wedding was preceded by three readings of the banns at the parish church of Kościelna Wieś during announcements, on the 31st of August, 7th of September, and the 14th of September. No impediments arose and the newlyweds stated that they had made no prenuptial agreement between them.

This document was read aloud to the declarants and witnesses and signed by us who can write, because those appearing and the witnesses mentioned in this document cannot write.
