Marriage of Wojciech Zachwieja and Julianna Tobiasz (1864)
Hello,
This is my translation of the Polish language marriage record of Wojciech Zachwieja and Julianna Tobiasz (my 3x great-grand aunt), from the Siniarzewo Parish. Any errors are completely my own.
Siniarzewo No 1 1864
This happened in village of Siniarzewo on the 26 of January, 1864, at 9 a.m. We declare in the presence of Andrzej Tobiasz, aged 30, and Franciszek Modrzejewski, aged 40, both attendants residing in Siniarzewo, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:
Wojciech Zachwieja, a widower (his wife Marianna Łukasik died on the 29th of December, 1853, in Szpetal, Włocławek), a laborer in Siniarzewo, born in Zakrzewo, the son of Andrzej and Jadwiga Zachwieja, aged 26,
and Julianna Tobiasz, a young woman, attendant in Siniarzewo, born in Parchanie, the daughter of Stanisław and Agnieszka Tobiasz, aged 25.
The wedding was preceded by three readings of the banns on the 10th, 17th, and 24th of January, 1864, at the parish churches of Bądkowo and Siniarzewo. No impediments arose and the newlyweds stated that they had made no prenuptial agreement between them.
This document was read aloud to the declarants and witnesses and signed by us who can write, because those appearing and the witnesses mentioned in this document cannot write.
Rev. Jan Krajewski, Pastor of the Siniarzewo Parish and Civil Registrar.
