Wojciech Nowak – Sedzin Inhabitant Registers

Below you will find the summary of the Sędzin inhabitant register for my 3x great uncle Wojciech Nowak and his family. They lived the in village of Zakrzewo, Gmina Sędzin in house 14.

1. Wojciech Nowak, born April 9, 1873, to his parents Mateusz Nowak and Marianna Pankowska, in the village of Zakrzewo. He is married, a peasant, Roman Catholic, and a laborer. He resided in the village of Zakrzewo. (In the notes section, it states that he was enlisted into the military on October 1, 1894. It also states “America”).
2. Katarzyna Nowak nee Borowicka (widow Wiśniewska), born November 12, 1865, to her parents Józef Borowicki and Teofila Kolowska, in Gmina Bądkowo. She is married, a peasant, Roman Catholic, keeps the house, and resides in the village of Zakrzewo.
   1. Józefa Wiśniewska, born August 4th/16th, 1888, to her parents Jan Wiśniewski (deceased) and Katarzyna Borowicka (Nowak), in the village of Zakrzewo. She is single, Roman Catholic and resides with her step-father and mother in the village of Zakrzewo. (In the notes section, it states that she moved to Bądkowo in 1913).
   2. Jan Wiśniewski, born June 1st/13th 1891, to his parents Jan Wiśniewski (deceased) and Katarzyna Borowicka (Nowak), in the village of Zakrzewo. He is single, Roman Catholic and resides with his step-father and mother in the village of Zakrzewo. (In the notes section, 1912 was listed but I couldn’t interpret the rest).
   3. Franciszka Michalina Nowak, born September 17th/29th, 1896, to her parents Wojciech and Katarzyna Nowak nee Borowicka, in the village of Zakrzewo.  She is single, Roman Catholic and resides with her parents in the village of Zakrzewo. (In the notes section there are details listed, but I cannot interpret).
   4. Stanisława Nowak, born September 21st/October 3rd, 1898, to her parents Wojciech and Katarzyna Nowak nee Borowicka, in the village of Zakrzewo.  She is single, Roman Catholic and resides with her parents in the village of Zakrzewo. (In the notes section it states that she married Michał Kochanowski).
   5. Weronika Nowak, born December 18th/31st, 1900, to her parents Wojciech and Katarzyna Nowak nee Borowicka, in the village of Zakrzewo.  She is single, Roman Catholic and resides with her parents in the village of Zakrzewo. (In the notes section it states that she married Marcin Grodnalski and moved to Gmina Straszewo on February 28, 1929).
   6. Leon Nowak, born June 30th/July 13th, 1908, to his parents Wojciech and Katarzyna Nowak nee Borowicka, in the village of Zakrzewo. He is single, Roman Catholic and reside with his parents in the village of Zakrzewo.

Notes in the ledger of the page state that Katarzyna and her two children with her deceased husband Jan Wiśniewski, Józefa and Jan, were not residents until after April 24, 1896.
