Marriage of Łukasz Sumiński and Helena Krzyżanowska nee Deręgowska (1854)

This is my translation of the Polish language marriage record of Łukasz Sumiński and Helena Krzyżanowska nee Deręgowska, from the Świerczyn Parish. Any errors are completely my own.

Czamaninek, 1854, No 11,

This happened in Świerczyn, on the 12th of July, 1854, at 1 p.m. We declare in the presence of: Maciej Deręgowski, aged 40, a farm owner residing in Palczewo, and Jan Nowak, aged 50, a laborer residing in Czamaninek, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:

Łukasz Sumiński, aged 40, a farm owner residing in Czamaninek, a widower – his previous wife Katarzyna died in Czamaninek,

and Helena Krzyżanowska, aged 27, residing in Czamaninek, a widow – her previous husband Marcin Krzyżanowski died in Nasiłowo, in 1852.

Three announcements preceded this marriage. The banns were read, at the Świerczyn Parish Church, on the 25th of June, the 2nd and the 9th of July, 1854. No impediments arose. No prenuptial agreement was made between the newlyweds. This document, after being read aloud to the witnesses and the newlyweds, was signed by the presiding pastor.
